Nicole and Matt met in September of 2021 in Seabrook, Texas at their favorite local watering hole- Sam's Boat. This fateful day the bar was pretty packed as both playoff baseball and football was on, and the only 2 open seats in the bar just happened to be next to Matt.

Nicole immediately noticed how cute the guy next to her was, but he wasn't as interested in her as he was with the games.....this upset Nicole a little, but she stayed and had a good time anyways. As the games wrapped up, Matt asked Nicole for her number and they went on their first date the following Tuesday. Sparks were flying on their date and the rest is history!

Fast forward to current day, Nicole and Matt live in a cozy home in Houston, Texas with their precious furbaby, Cleo. Nicole and Matt got engaged in May of 2025 and hope to one day make Cleo a big sister to an actual human baby, but first they want to have a beautiful wedding with all of their loved ones and friends!

There is no shortage of love in the Ehlers/Kopczynski household and the happy couple can't wait to show their testament of love on April 10th, 2026.
